AUTOMATION ENGINEER

EIE GROUP is looking for a talented, teamworker, and creative Automation Engineer to be included in project development activities.

PROFILO:
The resource will be included in the Control Systems Team and will follow EIE’s astronomical and aerospace projects, dealing with:

  • HW/SW design of control systems using technologies that are typical of the industrial sector
  • Development of control and supervision algorithms
  • Development of safety systems according to project specifications and current legislation (Machinery Directive)
  • Activation and commissioning of the machines on site

The ideal candidate also has:

  • Master degree in Engineering (automation/control systems, or secondarily, electronics/mechatronics).
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Knowledge in the fields of communication networks used in industry (EtherCAT, CAN / CANopen, Profibus, Ethernet / IP, Modbus), PLC, Industrial PC, programming languages according to IEC 61131, Twincat environment, object-oriented programming, UML modelling.
  • Skills related to real time software are appreciated.

Work experience in similar roles will be highly rated, but it is not strictly required. The profile is completed by good (i) organizational and problem solving, (ii) proactivity, and (iii) communication/interpersonal skills. Availability for international travel is also required.


ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

EIE GROUP is looking for a talented, teamworker, and creative Electrical Engineer to be included in project development activities.

PROFILE:

  • Creative problem solver, able to mix different approaches and tecniques to a wide range situations and problems;
  • Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering;
  • Experience with Electrical Automation, Plants;
  • Foreign Language ability, both spoken and written English, and possibily Spanish;
  • Experience with electrical schematic capture software, INTEGRA or similar;
  • Experience with 2D/3D CAD Softwares;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment and fast atmosphere with a strong sense of accountability and integrity;
  • Availability for national and international mobility, meetings and conferences, commissioning and tests on site;
  • Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication and documentation skills.

AUTOMATION ENGINEER
The resource will be part of the Control System Team and will deal with:

  • specific project analyses;
  • Control System HW/SW design/planning, for telescopes and domes mainly, by using the specific technologies of Industry;
  • development of algorithms, control and sw supervision based on project specifications;
  • safety systems planning and development as per project specifications and following the Machinery Directive (or similar);
  • machines on-site activation and commissioning.

It is required:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronic or Automotive Enigineer;
  • at least 3 year-experience in a similar role;
  • excellent command of English language;
  • field knowledge of communication networks used in industry (EtherCAT, CAN/CANopen, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus);
  • PLC and Industrial PC knowledge, programming languages according to IEC 61131, Twincat environments, National Instruments,
    Matlab;
  • knowledge of object programming and UML modeling;
  • knowledge of issues related to real-time software;
  • ability to perform post processing of data;
  • general knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering, reading wiring diagrams, sensors;
  • organizational and problem solving skills, proactivity, communication and interpersonal skills complete the profile;
  • willingness to travel abroad.

MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN
Mechanical and structural components Draftsman, 2/3D: Autocad/Inventor or Solid Works operator.
Foreign Language ability, both spoken and written English
Availability for national and international mobility (meetings and conferences, commissioning and tests on site).

THERMAL ENGINEER
The candidate will be part of the Plant Engineering Division and will be involved in the design of plant solutions; specifically, thermo engineering design and detailed design of plant systems (thermo mechanical plants, conditioning, fire, hydraulic and special plants), which will be developed both individually and with the help of other colleagues.
Post holder tasks will be the production of technical documentation, graphic and calculation analyses for scientific-industrial bids or assistance to service design activities.
The successful candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or in a closely related area such as Plant or Energy Engineering .
Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3 years experience in the design of complex thermo plants ;
The candidate should be familiar with either Office: Word, Excel, PPT, MS Project is a plus and AutoCad/Solidworks/Inventor or similar software for industrial and civil thermo analyses.
Trade show participation and travel is required.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Industrial Plants and automation expert, skilled 2/3D: Autocad/Inventor operator with specific reference to the electrical plants, Word, Excel, Project, PPT expert.
Foreign Language ability, both spoken and written English, and possibily Spanish and French.
Availability for national and international mobility (meetings and conferences, commissioning and tests on site).

MECHANICAL/MECHATRONICS/AEROSPACE/NUCLEAR ENGINEER
Industrial equipment and machinery designer with specific skills in structural calculations and CFD analysis (FEM ANSYS), 3D (Inventor or SolidWorks or Pro-E) operator, Matlab/Simulink expert, other than skilled at Office suite: Word, Excel, Project, PPT.
Foreign Language ability, both spoken and written English, and possibily Spanish and French.
Availability for national and international mobility (meetings and conferences, commissioning and tests on site)

CIVIL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Steel Structures, concrete and composite materials designer, with specific skills in structural calculations and CFD analysis (FEM ANSYS), 3D (Inventor or SolidWorks or Pro-E) operator, other than skilled at Office suite: Word, Excel, Project, PPT.
Foreign Language ability, both spoken and written English, and possibily Spanish and French.
Availability for national and international mobility (meetings and conferences, commissioning and tests on site)

ELECTRONIC OR MECHANICAL CONTROLLER ENGINEER
Control systems and machinery/industrial equipment automation designer. Skilled at Matlab/Simulink and/or CAD 2/3D (Autocad, Inventor, SolidWorks) expert, other than skilled at Office suite: Word, Excel, Project, PPT.
Foreign Language ability, both spoken and written English, and possibily Spanish and French.
Availability for national and international mobility (meetings and conferences, commissioning and tests on site)
